Ultrasound Technologist

Pay Rate: $55 per hour to $60 per hour
Shift: Day Shift 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine all patients for ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental procedures and techniques.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, taking necessary safety precautions to protect patients and personnel from electric shock or other hazards.
• Set up, operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available for use.
• Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel.
• Capture images onto PACS and transfer them to physicians' workstations.
• Answer telephones, schedule examinations, and may initiate transportation.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• ARDMS - Ultrasound Tech certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Skill in using personal computers and software.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
