Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech)

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Ultrasound Technologists to support the Long Beach VA Health Care System located at 5901 E 7th St, Long Beach, CA 90822. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Position Pays: $65 - $70.09/hr

Responsibilities

• Independently operate ultrasound equipment to perform complex diagnostic exams
• Receive patients, explain procedures, and position patients
• Select technical factors and document diagnostic images
• Prepare ultrasound rooms with required supplies and equipment
• Send images to PACS, perform post‑processing and case editing
• Maintain patient documentation using Radiology VistA and CPRS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current medical sonography experience
• Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) qualification
• ARDMS certification encouraged, but not required
• Current BLS certification
• PACS experience (AGFA preferred; training provided if needed)
• No sponsorship available 

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
