Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Licensure: ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN required; ARDMS or ARRT Registered in Vascular Sonography required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience as an Ultrasound Vascular Technologist
Technical Skills: May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound and vascular sonography exams with accuracy and care across multiple specialties (Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, Vascular)
Operate ultrasound imaging equipment according to established protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols
Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment
Maintain required certifications (ARDMS, ARRT) and stay current with industry standards
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed
