Who We Are
REEF is an ecosystem of digital and physical solutions that connect goods, services and experiences to consumers around the world. A key platform REEF has developed within this ecosystem is launching ready-to-operate businesses. REEF is seeking applicants to become independent Operators (we proudly call them “Ulysses”) to run middle-mile and last-mile delivery operations.
Becoming a Ulysses Operator isn’t a traditional job. It is an opportunity to operate a real business through your own LLC, with Autonomy, Fulfillment, and a Path to Financial Freedom through performance-based earnings and upside.
You do not have to build the business from scratch. REEF brings together the existing customer demand, operating infrastructure, fleet, technology, systems, and support required to operate. You step into an existing business with the opportunity to run it well, improve it, and grow it.
What we ask of you: deliver strong Baseline Performance, put in the Hard Work to improve the business, use Inspired Work to grow it, and maximize your Surface Area of Luck by creating more opportunities.
What We Offer
As a Ulysses Operator, you will have access to:
- Baseline Earnings Opportunity – Operators who successfully run the existing business to standard are expected to have an earnings opportunity of approximately $65,000–$100,000 annually, depending on the specific operation and its economics
- Performance-Based Upside – Operators who improve the operation through Hard Work, grow profitable demand through Inspired Work, and maximize their Surface Area of Luck can materially increase their earnings, with the potential to reach approximately $150,000–$200,000+ annually, depending on execution, growth, and the economics of the specific business
- Existing Customer Demand – Step into established delivery volume rather than building a customer base from zero
- Tech & Dispatch Tools – Access REEF’s platform for fleet management, routing, operational execution, and sales and performance tracking
- REEF-Provided Fleet – Access to the vehicles and fleet infrastructure required to operate the business, including non-CDL, fully equipped refrigerated vehicles where applicable*
- Exit Flexibility – Ability to leave the program with 90-day notice and receive your deposit back, subject to applicable program terms
What You’ll Do
- Oversee a mixed fleet of vans and box trucks across middle-mile and last-mile delivery routes
- Recruit, schedule, and coach drivers to meet on-time performance (OTP) and customer satisfaction goals
- Manage the P&L of the business you operate – understand revenue, manage expenses and the costs within your control, and drive sustainable profitability
- Manage fleet logistics flow from order pickup through final delivery
- Own execution against key operating and customer metrics, including OTP, Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, and applicable service-quality measures
- Identify opportunities to improve staffing, productivity, asset utilization, and controllable operating costs
- Look for opportunities to grow profitable customer demand and make better use of available capacity
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years in logistics, fleet management, or depot operations
- Strong leadership experience; able to manage drivers and multi-vehicle operations
- Must have the legal right to establish and operate a Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be ready to take responsibility for running, improving, and growing an existing logistics business
- Strong business acumen; comfortable with managing working capital, payroll, and running a P&L
- Experienced with OTP, SLA compliance, and other service-quality metrics
If you are ready to take responsibility for running and growing a meaningful logistics business — with Autonomy, Fulfillment, and a Path to Financial Freedom — we invite you to apply today to reserve your spot in an upcoming information session.
*In certain opportunities, an Operator may also bring their won vehicle and participate as an Enablement Partner, subject to applicable REEF, insurance, and customer requirements.
