The UME Program Associate, Neurology provides critical administrative, operational, and data management to assigned clinical clerkships and UME programs within the Office of Medical Education (OME) at George Washington University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS). This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for medical students,
faculty, and clinical sites for their designated clerkships and/or programs.
In close alignment with the respective Clerkship Directors and OME, the Program Associate manages day-to-day clerkship logistics, ensures academic and accreditation compliance, maintains student records, and interfaces with main campus systems. This role requires a high degree of detail orientation and strong customer service skills. Furthermore, the Program Associate serves as a key UME partner responsible for the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of clinical education processes. The position exercises independent judgment in resolving complex administrative issues, interpreting policies, recommending process improvements, and coordinating activities across multiple offices and clinical sites.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
