UNARMED FIRE WATCH SECURITY OFFICERCompany: Blueline Security ServicesLocation: Silver Spring, MarylandPosition: Unarmed Fire Watch Security Officer – Residential PropertySchedule: 1:00 AM – 7:00 AMPay Rate: $18.50 per hourPosition OverviewBlueline Security Services is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Fire Watch Security Officer for an overnight assignment at a residential property in Silver Spring, MD.The officer will be responsible for maintaining an active fire watch, conducting required patrols and checkpoints, monitoring the property, assisting residents when appropriate, and reporting any safety concerns or unusual activity.Because this is a residential property, the ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, remain professional when interacting with residents and visitors, and be able to communicate effectively.RequirementsMust have an active security guard licenseMust be able to work weekends and holidaysMust be available for the 1:00 AM – 7:00 AM overnight shiftMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shiftMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be comfortable using a smartphone to complete required checkpoints and reportsMust have excellent customer service skillsMust be professional and respectful when interacting with residents, guests, and property staffMust be able to follow written post orders and fire watch proceduresMust have reliable transportation to and from the propertyMust maintain a professional appearance and conductPrevious residential security or fire watch experience is preferredJob DutiesConduct scheduled fire watch patrols throughout the residential propertyComplete required smartphone checkpointsMonitor the property for fire, smoke, hazards, or unusual activityRemain visible, alert, and attentive while on dutyAssist residents and visitors with general security-related questions when appropriateProvide professional and courteous customer serviceMonitor entrances, common areas, and assigned areas of the propertyReport safety concerns, suspicious activity, fire hazards, or unusual incidents immediatelyMaintain accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs)Follow all site post orders and Blueline Security Services policiesCommunicate professionally with residents, visitors, property management, and emergency personnel when necessarySchedule & PayPay: $18.50 per hourShift: 1:00 AM – 7:00 AMLocation: Silver Spring, MDPosition: Unarmed Security / Fire WatchWeekends & Holidays: RequiredIf you are dependable, professional, alert, and have strong customer service skills, we encourage you to apply.Blueline Security Services is looking for someone who takes pride in providing a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
