Unarmed Security Guard

Location: Orange County, CAPay: $17-19/HRJob Type: Part-Time or Full-TimeGraveyard Shifts: 10:00pm-6:00am or 11:00pm-7:00am (Workdays are TBD)Requirements: MUST have a CURRENT BSIS Guard Card. Must have following gear:

• Duty belt
• Baton (with permit), OC spray (with permit), and/or Taser
• Hand Cuffs

*DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU CAN COMMIT TO ALL SHIFTS*Scope:We are seeking a reliable and vigilant UNARMED Security Guard to join our team.. The primary responsibility of the Security Guard will be to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.Key Responsibilities:

• • Conduct security checks and patrols within the building.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarms.
  • Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secured.
  • Respond promptly to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
  • Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed records of all incidents, activities, and observations.
  • Foot patrol and/or vehicle patrol

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established protocols.
• Must possess a current valid Driver's License and may be required to submit a copy of their driving records.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Weekly Pay (every Thursday) 
• Training and Development 
• Health insurance 
• Pay rate: $17-19
