Job Description:
Black Cube Security is seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to provide safety and security during a high-traffic New Year’s Eve event in downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a valid Guard Card and Driver's License, ensuring that event attendees and personnel are protected and that security protocols are maintained throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure a safe environment for event attendees.
- Monitor event perimeters, access points, and crowds to prevent disturbances or safety issues.
- Assist with crowd control, directing guests as needed.
- Respond to any incidents or emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
- Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Guard Card is required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Prior security experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during the entire shift.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods and navigate through a crowd.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calm and discretion.
Dress Code:
- Security uniform required.
- Security polo shirt will be provided at the event.
- Uniform must be worn throughout the shift for a professional appearance.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
