Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Belpre, OH
Job Type: 40 hours per week
Schedule:
- Saturday & Sunday | 7:00am-3:00pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 3pm-11pm
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to provide a combination of first shift and second shift security at a busy manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of the property.
- Conduct routine inspections of doors, gates, windows, and other access points.
- Observe, document, and report suspicious activity or security incidents.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Provide professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security concerns.
- Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be able to:
- Obtain an Ohio Guard Card (training available).
- Obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, pre-employment physical, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Provide reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Demonstrate strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
- Work independently while remaining alert throughout shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
