Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to become part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our clients, their employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while responding effectively to security concerns. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or a related public safety field is preferred.





Key Responsibilities

• Wide range of potential assignments - events, construction, demolition sites, retail, corporate, etc.
• Patrol assigned premises and maintain a high level of visibility to deter incidents
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access
• Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary
• Monitor and review surveillance cameras for unusual or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to incidents and reports of suspicious behavior
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and document all security incidents
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Previousexperience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a related role preferred
• Valid Illinois PERC Card and completion of 20-Hour Basic Training required
• Reliable mobile device with internet access (for reporting and communication)
• Strong knowledge of public safety/security procedures and protocols
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
