As a Metro One Security Officer, you'll help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, clients, and guests while representing Metro One's commitment to professionalism and outstanding customer service.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Conduct routine patrols while maintaining a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and security equipment.
• Observe, investigate, and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, and emergency responders.
• Help maintain a safe, professional, and customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experience will help you succeed:

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience.
• Experience monitoring CCTV systems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience writing clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
• Conflict de-escalation and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, report writing, and data entry).
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Professional appearance with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have at least two years of customer service experience.
• Hold a valid New Mexico Security Guard License (or be eligible to obtain one, if applicable).
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
• Demonstrate a stable and reliable work history.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be available to work assigned schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
