Unarmed Security OfficerSecureOne Security Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for client sites throughout the Chicago West Suburbs. No prior security experience is required - we provide paid training and will assist candidates in obtaining the required Illinois PERC license before their start date.Pay$18.04 per hourWeekly pay and optional daily pay availablePosition OverviewAs an Unarmed Security Officer, you will maintain a safe, orderly environment at assigned client locations. Duties vary by site and include access control, patrol, monitoring, and incident documentation. Officers are expected to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and maintain professional appearance and conduct throughout their shift.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor assigned premises through regular foot patrols and observationEnforce site-specific rules and standard operating proceduresDocument incidents, hazards, and any unusual activity accuratelyProvide courteous, professional service to clients, employees, and visitorsMaintain accurate logs and submit daily activity reportsQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredIllinois PERC Card and 20-Hour Certificate required to begin work (we help you obtain these)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in all situationsClean background check and drug screening requiredBenefitsWeekly pay / optional daily payMedical insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) retirement plan with 5% company matchPaid training and uniformsCareer advancement and in-house development programsIn-person and virtual (Zoom) interviews are available.
