Excelsior Defense is looking for professional unarmed Security officer to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. The selected individual will maintain a high visibility presence in patrolling and securing the area of OHA Housing Authority. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. You will also access control into the property, doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property of OHA housing property.The individual officer will work overnight from 9pm to 5am and needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe and secure. This post is a patrol around the property and to do writing report every hour, and scans through the property, ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite mannerResponsibilities:Control access onto propertyConduct foot patrols of the propertyMonitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rulesThoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and securityWarn violators of premise rules and regulationsApprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal actsReport any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipesRequest emergency personnel for high-risk situationsReport WritingSkills RequiredProven work experience as a security officer or relevant positionValid D Security License (Needs to be active)Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipmentDetailed report writingIntegrity and professionalismSurveillance skills and detail orientationExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsWe do not require any experience as we are willing to train the right officer.
