Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Pottstown, PA

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday, First Shift

Primary Responsibilities

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for providing professional security services with a focus on observing, preventing, and reporting. Duties may include:

• Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols and other patrols as assigned.
• Maintain daily activity reports and write clear, accurate incident reports.
• Enforce site post orders, policies, procedures, and client regulations.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
• Provide professional customer service and assist with client requests as needed.
• Communicate incidents and concerns to site and company management.
• Attend required company and site training.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
• Current state-required security registration/license/permit.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and drug/alcohol testing, where applicable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer-service skills.
• Ability to remain alert, use good judgment, and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned location.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on assignment.
