Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to join our team. Security Officers will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to situations.




Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized activity, theft, or disturbances
  
  
• Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of personnel and visitors
  
  
• Provide clear, professional assistance to guests, tenants, and staff
  
  
• Observe, report, and document daily activities and incidents using company reporting tools
  
  
• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, or calls for assistance
  
  
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold APS standards of conduct at all times
  
  
• Operate communication equipment (radios, phones) in accordance with company protocol
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (but not required)
  
  
• Valid DCSO or MD Security Guard License (or ability to obtain before employment)
  
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; may involve moderate physical activity
  
  
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
