Unarmed Security Officer - Warehouse

Location: Sparrows Point, MD

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday | 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
• Monday and Tuesday | 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview:Seeking qualified Unarmed Security Officers to join the team and provide dedicated security services at a large warehouse and distribution center for a logistics client. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while representing the professionalism and integrity expected in the private security industry.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor the client's warehouse, loading docks, storage areas, and parking lots to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activity.
• Control access to the facility by verifying employee, vendor, and visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Complete accurate, detailed daily activity, incident, and shift reports.
• Provide clear communication and support to site management and logistics personnel as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor while on duty.

Requirements:

• Current Maryland Guard Card (Unarmed Security License)
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Own, reliable vehicle (for commuting and/or site patrols)
• Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
