Job Summary
Wright Worldwide Inc. is seeking professional, dependable
Special Events & Anti-Piracy Security Officers for assignments throughout
Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
This is a flexible, event-based security position. Assignments may include movie theaters, private screenings, entertainment venues, corporate events, special events, houses of worship, and other client locations throughout South Florida.
One of Wright Worldwide's specialized assignments is
anti-piracy security for advance and pre-release movie screenings. Officers assigned to anti-piracy details are responsible for helping prevent unauthorized audio, video, photography, or recording of protected content.
Anti-piracy officers may be required to monitor theater audiences, identify suspicious activity, operate
night vision equipment, communicate potential violations, and follow established client protocols.
Officers may also be assigned to traditional special-event security duties, including access control, guest screening, crowd observation, restricted-area monitoring, visible security presence, and other event-specific responsibilities.
This is not a traditional fixed-post position. Locations, days, hours, and assignments will vary based on client needs and scheduled events throughout South Florida. Scheduling is based upon your availability when a client request is made.
The ideal candidate is polished, observant, punctual, comfortable interacting with the public, and capable of maintaining a strong professional presence in upscale and highly visible environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional unarmed security at movie theaters, special events, private events, corporate functions, entertainment venues, and other client locations
- Maintain a strong, visible, and professional security presence
- Monitor guests, entrances, exits, restricted areas, and event activity
- Assist with access control and credential verification when required
- Observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Assist with orderly guest movement and crowd management
- Follow event-specific post orders and client instructions
- Communicate effectively with event staff, venue management, guests, security personnel, and Wright Worldwide supervisors
- Respond appropriately to security concerns and immediately escalate serious incidents
- Complete required activity and incident reports
- Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, events, screenings, guests, and protected information
Anti-Piracy Assignments
When assigned to movie screenings or anti-piracy details, officers may also be responsible for:
- Monitor theaters during advance, private, or pre-release movie screenings
- Help prevent unauthorized audio, video, photography, or recording of protected content
- Observe audience activity throughout the screening
- Operate night vision goggles or other monitoring equipment as required
- Identify cell phones, cameras, recording devices, or other suspicious activity that may violate screening protocols
- Professionally approach or report potential violations in accordance with client procedures
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding unreleased or protected content
- Follow all studio, client, venue, and Wright Worldwide anti-piracy protocols
- Participate in assignment-specific training before working anti-piracy details
Qualifications
- Current Florida Class D Security Officer License required
- Previous security, special events, hospitality, customer service, or similar experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be willing and able to travel to assignments throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, clients, venue personnel, and other security professionals
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and client-specific protocols
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a security team
- High level of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Must operate in an ethical and respectful manner at all times
- Must be comfortable speaking to individuals and groups when required
- Must be able to remain alert and observant for extended periods
- Must maintain a professional appearance appropriate for upscale client environments
- Must be able to learn and properly operate night vision equipment when assigned to anti-piracy details
Training for specialized anti-piracy assignments will be provided.
Professional Attire
Special event and anti-piracy assignments require professional business attire unless otherwise directed.
Men: Black, gray, or navy-blue suit; solid dress shirt; conservative tie; and comfortable black dress shoes.
Women: Black, gray, or navy-blue professional suit or equivalent professional business attire; professional blouse; and comfortable black dress shoes.
Sneakers are not permitted unless medically required or specifically authorized for the assignment.
Men must be clean-shaven or maintain a neatly trimmed and professional beard.
Officers must maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
Schedule & Availability
Hours vary based on event schedules and client needs.
Assignments may include:
Late afternoon and evening movie screenings
Weekday assignments
Weekend assignments
Morning events
Private screenings
Special events and venue assignments
This position is best suited for individuals who have
flexible availability and are interested in supplemental or event-based security work.
Assignments are offered based on client needs, officer qualifications, availability, location, and assignment requirements.
