As a UnarmedSecurity Officer Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers to support a government location. In this active role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and government location policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site representatives, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
