Job Skills / Requirements

This Unarmed Security Officer position in Plymouth, MI is a customer-service-oriented security role that combines patrol duties, incident response, report writing, and safety monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols.
• Monitor for security threats, hazards, and emergencies.
• Write detailed incident reports and document unusual activities.
• Respond to incidents according to company policies and post orders.
• Provide customer service, visitor reception, loss prevention, or access control functions depending on the site.
• Follow emergency procedures and communicate with supervisors when issues arise.
• Maintain attendance, appearance, and training requirements.

What They're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and any required drug screening.
• Any state-required security license, registration, or permit.

Preferred

• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.
• Experience with scheduling, operations, or security-industry functions.
• Clean driving record if the position requires patrol vehicle operation.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: $18.45/hour
• Shifts: Midnight until 8:00 AM
• Days: Sunday-Thursday
• Status: Full-time
