The College of Agriculture is seeking an Undergraduate Student Assistant for the Dean's office to support the office through various administrative support activities/duties and by serving as the initial point of contact for visitors, special guests, and students in both the office and at special events.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries in a professional manner
- Provide customer service to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and guests
- Assist with filing, scanning, copying, sorting mail, distributing mail, package processing, and organizing office documents
- Monitor office supplies and assist with inventory management and ordering
- Ensure reception and common areas remain organized and welcoming
- Help set up and break down event spaces for special events
- Prepare event materials, nametags, signage, and registration packets
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive university and personnel information
- Other duties as needed/assigned
