Underground Utility Pipelayer
TradeWorX is hiring five Underground Utility Pipelayers for a high-priority residential site-development project in Clinton, Pennsylvania. We are seeking developing, intermediate and advanced pipelayers with experience installing stormwater, sanitary sewer and natural gas lines. This opportunity offers approximately 50 hours per week, overtime after 40 hours and potential consideration for additional TradeWorX assignments after this project.

Pay & Overtime:
$23–$32 per hour based on verified experience and skill level
Current schedule provides approximately 10 overtime hours per week
Pay based on prior relevant experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
7: 00 AM–5: 30 PM
Five 10-hour shifts
Saturdays may be required depending on the project phase
Start as soon as possible
Job Duties:
Install underground stormwater, sanitary sewer and natural gas lines.
Work in trenches typically ranging from four to six feet deep.
Prepare and level trench bedding before pipe installation.
Position, align, cut, connect and secure underground pipe.
Follow construction stakes, pipe lasers, grade rods and elevation information.
Assist with structures, laterals, tie-ins, service connections and backfill preparation.
Requirements:
Previous pipelaying, underground utility or site-development experience.
Familiarity with stormwater, sanitary sewer and natural gas line installation.
Ability to work safely in trenches approximately four to six feet deep.
Reliable transportation to Clinton, Pennsylvania, and a valid driver’s license.
Steel-toe work boots and required basic jobsite PPE.
Availability for five 10-hour shifts, overtime and possible Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to independently maintain line, grade, slope and invert elevations.
Experience using pipe lasers, grade rods, transits or construction stakes.
