The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.
SPA has a need for a passionate and dedicated analyst focused on national security issues relating to the Navy's Undersea Warfare capabilities and responsibilities, including missions, platforms, payloads, and people. #KS
Responsibilities:SPA has an immediate need for a passionate and dedicated individual with a demonstrated record of success in strategic communications, and external engagement and experience working on the Navy, Joint, or Combatant Commander staff level. This position fills a key role in the Undersea Security Programs’ (OPNAV N975) core leadership team, and offers an opportunity to understand and communicate the full breadth of the portfolio of a critical office within the undersea warfare community. This individual will engage with senior leadership, subject matter experts, and policy makers to develop and communicate Undersea Security Programs’ strategic plans and the implications of technical and operational analysis to senior Navy and DOD leaders. The individual will conduct analysis relating to sensitive and important undersea warfare security topics that will require coordination with the intelligence community, operational Navy commands, and technical experts.
