FinTrust Connect has partnered with a regional banking institution seeking operational and analytical support talent for a confidential Underwriter Assistant / Commercial Loan Administration opportunity. This role will support a large commercial loan portfolio and assist underwriting teams with portfolio maintenance and borrower financial documentation.

Requirements:
- 1–3 years of commercial banking, loan administration, or credit support experience
- Experience collecting and reviewing borrower financial documentation
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage high-volume portfolio activity
- Familiarity with commercial lending processes preferred
- Strong Excel and communication skills
Description:
- Collect borrower financial statements and supporting documentation
- Track covenant compliance and portfolio reporting requirements
- Support underwriters and portfolio managers with loan administration tasks
- Maintain loan data accuracy and document organization
- Assist with annual review preparation and portfolio maintenance activities
- Communicate with borrowers regarding missing documentation and reporting requirements
- Help manage large commercial loan portfolio volumes
