Immediate need for a talented Underwriting - Life Underwriting Case Admin (Data Entry). This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $21/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the underwriting mailbox and ensure incoming enrollment forms are converted and sent to an indexing queue
  • Distribute emails from the underwriting mailbox to appropriate team members/departments
  • Convert enrollment form emails and attachments into a single PDF and upload to the indexing queue
  • Monitor the indexing queue and index all documents based on written procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to improve department performance
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Must have skills: Data Entry
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Demonstrates strong ability to work independently and to adjust schedule to meet service standards
  • Proven ability to remain focused in fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Proficient use of computer systems
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry
