The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Unified Communications Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves managing and overseeing the design, development, and administration of Unified Communications (UC) systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, leading a team of engineers and ensuring the seamless operation of UC systems to support mission-critical communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, and administration of Unified Communications systems.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for UC systems, providing guidance on best practices and emerging technologies.

  • Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.

  • System Administration:

  • Administer and manage UC applications such as Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, and Cisco Expressway.

  • Ensure proper interfacing of all devices with the network, including Cisco Business Edition 7000 servers, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meeting Management (CMM) server, and Cisco VQ Conference Manager (VQCM) server.

  • Project Management:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience, including planning, executing, and closing projects related to UC systems.

  • Comfortable in high-visibility and customer-facing environments.

  • Customer Service and Support:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Compliance and Standards:

  • Understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC network requirements.

  • Ensure all UC system’s comply with security and operational standards.

  • Travel and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.

  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8 - 10 years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications Network-based Systems.

  • Or 12+ years of experience with 3+ years as a Lead in UC systems.

  • CASP+ CE certified

  • CCNP Collaboration certified

  • CAPM certified

  • TS/SCI

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
