Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Unified Communications Specialist to support a contract focused on delivering secure, reliable, and uninterrupted DISA Voice Services. This position is located onsite at Scott Air Force Base, IL, supporting a large-scale, mission-critical communications infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities for the Unified Communications Specialist include:

  • Perform engineering, sustainment, and maintenance activities for a large-scale, highly resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure
  • Manage, configure, troubleshoot, and support services across voice, video, and data networks
  • Configure and maintain calling search spaces, route plans, partitions, route lists, and device profiles
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues involving SIP signaling, call flows, and remote site registration
  • Support routing, switching, firewall infrastructure, and ensure network security compliance
  • Conduct fault analysis and support voice infrastructure issue isolation and resolution
  • Validate, process, and implement change requests while contributing to technical documentation and operational reporting

Required Qualifications for the Unified Communications Specialistr include:

  • 2 - 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise voice, VoIP, and network infrastructure environments
  • Experience with enterprise voice platforms such as Cisco, Avaya, or Oracle (CUCM, Unity, CUBE, Oracle SBC, Avaya Aura)
  • Strong knowledge of SIP signaling, call flows, and VoIP technologies
  • Experience with routing, switching, WAN principles, and network architecture
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across voice, network, and security systems
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

Compensation for the Unified Communications Specialist includes:

  • Salary range depending on experience
