Uniformed Armed Security: Government Center

Duties:

Responsible for the safety and security of the Government Center

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ILEA certification preferred but not required
• First responder experience is also a plus
• Regular deputy hiring process applies before employment
• Starting pay $22.00/hour
• Up to 29 hours/week
• Experience and proficiency with firearms preferred. Will be required to meet firearms qualification standards established by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy
• Complete State-required training topics each year, such as physical tactics
• Good communication skills for dealing with the public
