Job Description Summary

Union Pay Range $31.50 to $33.50

Class A CDL Driver

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Class A CDL Driver.

As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of Scaffolding equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. This Driver position is labor intensive as you will get in an out of the truck to load and unload your own truck for pick ups and deliveries. Experience with a Moffett -truck mounted style forklift is a Plus.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:
* Valid Driver's license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
* Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
* Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
* Experience driving trucks in and out of tight spaces like on construction sites.
* Knowledge of Scaffolding a plus but not required.
* Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
* Customer service attitude

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. The hourly wage depends on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
