Position Summary

Supports efficient order fulfillment by ensuring products are accurately selected, prepared, and staged for distribution. Maintains inventory availability, product quality, and workplace safety while contributing to timely, accurate deliveries and overall warehouse productivity.


Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently identify and pick products required to fill orders

• Build loads on pallets, use machinery to shrink wrap loads and position loads appropriately to facilitate the loading process

• Replenish product levels as needed to ensure that product is readily available during the picking process

• May be required to load delivery vehicles

• Ensure that damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management

• Keep work area clean and accessible

• Work carefully and safely to avoid injury to self or others, or damage to property or product

• Perform general warehouse duties as required


Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Previous experience using warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate an ability to work quickly and efficiently while carefully following policies and procedures
  • Quickly learn pick positions, warehouse and other policies and procedures, and product codes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend both written and verbal forms of communication
  • Demonstrate responsibility and dependability while on the job
  • Communicate effectively and respectively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to operate a cherry picker, if assigned to the warehouse wine department

Physical Demands and Requirements

  • Requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
  • Regularly lifts and carries objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves objects weighing up to 100 lbs. with assistance

Environmental Conditions

  • Works in a standard warehouse environment
  • Works in refrigerated areas

  • Technical systems (e.g., HRIS, ERP, payroll platforms)

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $23.69 hourly

(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
