Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Demonstrate commitment to organizational core values, quality improvement, and safe work practices, including participation in safety programs and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including generators, fire alarms, motors, transformers, pumps, and hospital-wide power, lighting, and communication systems.
- Install, repair, modify, and replace electrical circuits and equipment, including appliances, intercom systems, wiring, switches, and specialized devices, using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Inspect and test electrical systems; read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications; and estimate time, materials, and costs for maintenance and installation activities.
- Manage inventory and procurement by preparing supply orders and maintaining adequate stock of electrical components, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise and assign work to Maintenance Mechanics I and II, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with standards.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation on inspections, work progress, and completed projects, while supporting additional duties and facility needs as assigned.

- Four years' experience in electrical work after receipt of journeyman license or a total of eight years' experience
