Responsibilities:

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Maintain, repair, and install hospital plumbing systems, including fixtures, fittings, drains, valves, backflow devices, and minor medical gas systems. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all plumbing systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently in compliance with national, state, and local codes. 
  • Review and prioritize work orders; interpret blueprints and specifications; and estimate time, materials, and costs to complete assigned tasks. 
  • Manage inventory and procurement of materials, tools, and spare parts to support routine work and emergency repairs. 
  • Ensure proper system labeling, maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, and complete work orders clearly and on time to support equipment history tracking. 
  • Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, safe tool usage, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. 
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls while delivering high-quality, cost-effective service and supporting patient safety and organizational goals. 
Qualifications:

What minimum requirements you’ll need 

Education: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 

License: 

  •  Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber 

Work Experience: 

  • Three to five years
