Attorneys practicing in this area often address issues of first impression and guide the formation of victims' rights laws, rules and procedure.LSCVA is seeking an experienced attorney familiar with leading hearings (direct, cross, open/close, etc) and who is able to argue novel areas of law that have little to no established caselaw, up to the AZ Supreme Court as needed. Learn more about LSCVA's culture at www.lscva.org.An attorney in this role works a 40-hour workweek, except for occasional longer hours when a case is in trial or otherwise requires more attention, for example when writing an appellate brief on a short deadline. Levels generally follow as listed below:Staff Attorney I, no experience to three years of experience as an attorney in this fieldStaff Attorney II, at least four years of experience as an attorney in this fieldStaff Attorney III, at least eight years of experience as an attorney in this fieldStaff Attorney IV, at least thirteen years of experience as an attorney in this fieldLSCVA offers a generous PTO plan (vacation, sick and personal leave) starting at 31 days off per year for full-time employees and 12.5 paid holidays.
