Position Purpose
Performs clerical duties byassistingthe professional nursing staff by performing routine duties in caring for assigned patients in a designated area. UtilizesPowerchartfor OrderEntry, andis a resource to employeesutilizingthe system.
Shifts Available: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Status available: Part-time
Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays per year for Full-time and Part-time team members.
Required Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or GED.
What you will do:
Answers telephones and relays messages, makingcalls asnecessary.
Assemblescharts for admission, transfer anddischarges, post charges.
Sets upappointments for special procedures as necessary withappropriate departments, as well as settingappointments upfor patients on an outpatient basis.
Demonstrates ability toutilizeorder entry, order modification, D/C and cancel orders as directed.
