We're seeking a Unit Coordinator to join our Med/Surg team on a full-time basis at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).
Be the hub of communication and coordination in a fast-paced hospital unit. In this role, you will support seamless operations while delivering outstanding service to patients, families, and clinical teams.
This position is a 40-hour evening role, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Job Description:

Patient Flow & Coordination
Patient & Visitor Experience
Systems & Operations
Use key systems such as:
Provider order entry
Bed tracking
Nurse call systems
Ensure accurate data entry and timely responses
Act as a resource for basic system troubleshooting
Equipment & Unit Support
Patient Belongings Program

Moderate physical activity:
Up to 50 pounds occasionally

Pay Range:
$20.50 - $27.59
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
