Job Summary The Unit Field Trainer is the first level of management in the Branch Sales Office that is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and on the job training for sales agents, in addition to maintaining its own personal production standards. The role of a unit field trainer is essential to the success of the sales organization. They play a critical role in ensuring that sales representatives have the skills and knowledge necessary to meet their targets and achieve their goals, ultimately contributing to the team's overall success.Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities Train and Mentor agentsResponsible for a downline of agents and accountable for their performance and compliance to policies and proceduresProvide day to day guidance, consultation and mentoring for the development strategies of agents (production oriented) to help agents become successfulMaintain personal production to achieve established goals and objectivesMay also have a role in recruiting efforts as assigned by branch; instrumental in the onboarding and development of licensed agents; help facilitate the licensing training for other agentsConduct on the job training through joint field work with new agents that includes appointment sharing and commission splitsAccountable to develop additional Unit Field Trainers within branch / satellite branchActively participate in management team meetings and support the Branch Sales Office in meeting stated goalsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have a deep understanding of the sales processHighly successful in prospecting skills for marketingBe able to observe sales representatives in action, identify areas where improvements can be made, and provide feedback and coaching to help them improvePossess strong leadership & management skills, unafraid of failureStrong communication skills requiredStrong results orientation requiredEducation and Experience Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDField of study: N/ACertifications/Licenses: Life & Health licenseRelated Work Experience: Have required Field Training Allowance met; must meet minimum level of production based on metrics for their branchTypical/Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's DegreeField of study: N/ACertifications/Licenses: Life & Health licenseRelated Work Experience: 5 years related work experienceEqual Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
