Position Summary The RN Unit Manager plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of an assigned skilled nursing unit. This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing services, ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leadership, clinical excellence, and delivering exceptional care to our Veteran residents. Key Responsibilities - Provide daily supervision and leadership to nursing staff on an assigned unit
- Coordinate and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality outcomes and resident satisfaction
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans
- Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and accountability
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions are provided
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident-centered care
Qualifications Required - Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a degree in Nursing
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred - Previous leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
- Experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating patient care services
