Position: Unit Public Affairs Representative

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This is a full time, permanent position within our company and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Unit Public Affairs Representative will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive public image for our company. This individual will work closely with our marketing and communications teams to develop and implement strategies that effectively communicate our company's mission, values, and services to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets, community organizations, and government agencies to promote our company's brand and initiatives

- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to generate positive media coverage

- Monitor and respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company representatives

- Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers to promote our brand and services

- Plan and execute community outreach events and sponsorships to increase our company's visibility and reputation

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels

- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to management

- Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends to identify potential opportunities for the company to engage with the public

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the real estate industry

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

- Proven experience in media relations and crisis communication

- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices

- Familiarity with local media outlets and community organizations is a plus
