Job Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: Nashville, TN

Facility: Saint Thomas Midtown

Department: OB Emergency Department

Schedule: Full-Time | Nights

How you'll make an impact in this role:

 

  • Greet patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and schedule patients for appointments. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Create various reports and documents.
  • Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other health-care team members about patient care. Perform unit safety checks.
  • Assist with meeting patient needs and escalate as appropriate. May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules. May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.

 

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
