Summary
Performs clerical support functions for a patient care unit, including environmental control, revenue reconciliation, inventory management, data entry, and troubleshooting. Assists in delivering direct nursing care as appropriate and supports nonexecutive staff within the department.
Essential Functions
-Provides administrative support, manages information flow, answers phones, greets visitors, and maintains patient records.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; no experience can substitute for education.
Experience
0-1 year in clerical support or customer service preferred.
Skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Strong follow-up, prioritization, and customer service skills
-Ability to learn new systems and adapt actions accordingly
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and fine/manipulation tasks, with constant use of vision, hearing, talking, and feeling skills.
