Job Summary
The Unit Support Coordinator:
Provides guests information and supports the efforts of the unit staff
Performs designated duties under the supervision of a professional nurse
Handles clerical and specific administrative tasks for the nursing unit
Assembles patient records, answers phones and patient calls
Orders and ensures delivery of supplies, timekeeping via Kronos, welcomes new patients and families to the unit, orients to patient / family areas of the unit, answers call lights, and other related functions as needed.
Assists the unit leaders in disseminating pertinent information to the staff.
