    Job Description

    About Elm Grove

A well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management firm is looking to hire a Unit Turn Technician Turn to join their team.

    About the Role:

Do you take pride in making a space look brand new? As a Unit Turn Technician, you'll get our apartments ready for new residents. You'll take each unit from move-out to move-in ready by handling repairs, fixes, and finishing touches. This role is a great fit for a dependable, hands-on tradesperson who likes variety and enjoys seeing the results of their work at the end of every job.

    Our Culture & Values

At Elm Grove Companies, our values aren’t just words —it's how we work every day. We lead with Respect, collaborate through Synergy, take Accountability for our actions, show up with Dependability, and embrace a Growth Mindset in everything we do.

We expect every team member to live these values daily — in how they communicate, solve problems, and support one another. We offer freedom to think, create, and contribute without micromanagement, and we hold each other to a high standard of ownership and integrity.

If these values align with how you work and who you are, we want to talk with you.

    What You'll Do

    • Complete apartment and unit turnovers between residents, start to finish
    • Repair walls and ceilings, including patching, sanding, minor drywall work, and painting
    • Handle light electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, and fixtures
    • Handle light plumbing repairs on faucets, toilets, drains, and minor leaks
    • Repair and replace doors, hardware, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures
    • Work through general maintenance and punch-list items
    • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
    • Spot larger issues that need a licensed professional and flag them to the team

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience with drywall, wall and ceiling repairs, and painting
    • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
    • Comfort using common hand and power tools
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
    • The ability to work independently and finish jobs efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

    Nice to Have

    • Previous apartment maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or handyman experience

    Why Join Us

    • Steady, full-time work with a variety of projects
    • The chance to work independently and own your results
    • 7 Paid Holidays
