Job Summary:
We are a venting and mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC and ERV systems for new apartment construction across the Seattle area. We are currently hiring Unit Vent Installers to join our growing unit venting division. This role involves installing ventilation and duct systems in multi-family residential buildings under the direction of experienced foremen and project leads.
Responsibilities:
Install unit ventilators, grilles, fans, and related ERV components in apartment buildings.
Measure, cut, and fit ductwork and venting materials according to plans and specifications.
Work closely with foremen and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain jobsite quality.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
Load and unload materials and keep the jobsite clean and organized.
Requirements:
Prior construction or venting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops as needed.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical work.
Reliable transportation to job sites in the Seattle metro area.
Willingness to work outdoors and indoors in varying conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in venting or HVAC installation.
Familiarity with apartment construction sites and unit vent systems.
OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
