Youll work closely with the Facilities Management department to ensure a high standard of sanitation across various areas of the campus.
As a Sanitation Worker, you'll be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the facility. Your role will involve using specialized equipment, handling various cleaning tasks, and maintaining a hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike.
What You'll Do
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Performing industrial sanitation on carpets and hard floors using floor scrubbers and steamers
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas, restrooms, and offices
- Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping windows and doors
- Emptying trash bins and removing rubbish on site
- Ensuring all areas are sanitized, well-stocked, and presentable
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Prior experience in cleaning or sanitation (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
- Comfort with bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, and crouching throughout the shift
- Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
