We are seeking an experienced Unix/Linux DBA with strong Shell scripting expertise and hands-on experience in distributed NoSQL database technologies, particularly Cassandra.

Primary Skill:

Unix / Shell Scripting

Secondary Skill:

Linux

Tertiary Skill:

Cassandra

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration with advanced Shell scripting
3+ years of experience in NoSQL or distributed database technologies
Strong understanding of Cassandra or similar distributed databases
Experience in production support and database operations

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, BladeLogic, etc.
Experience with distributed databases like Cassandra, Redis, CockroachDB, SingleStore, TigerGraph
Expertise in cluster management, replication, consistency tuning, and multi-DC setup
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in high-volume enterprise environments
Flexible, proactive, and strong problem-solving mindset
