The Intern Experience with Compass of Hope Provide direct clinical services to clients under supervisionConduct assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions appropriate to training levelMaintain professional boundaries and ethical decision-making at all times Receive ongoing clinical consultation and real-time support with on call supervisor coverage at all times of operation ParticGain exposure to a variety of clinical presentations, treatment modalities, and documentation standardsInterns are supported by a robust leadership and supervision structure, including: Clinical supervisors, site supervisor, clinical director, weekly team meeting and weekly supervision offerings in addition to weekly individual supervisionClear escalation pathways are in place to ensure intern support and client safetyEmphasis on learning, growth, feedback, and skill developmentOpportunities for continuing education courses to learn specific treatment modalities and areas of interestParticipate in community development activities and other tasks as assigned Professional Development Focus Structured to prepare interns for the pre-licensure stage, including: Development of clinical confidence and professional identityStrong documentation and ethical decision-making skillsReadiness to manage increased caseloads post-graduation Interns are treated as emerging professionals and integrated into the clinical team Internship Expectations Commitment to maintaining scheduled availability and clinical responsibilitiesTimely and accurate completion of clinical documentation in accordance with agency policyActive participation in supervision, trainings, and consultationsAdherence to all Compass of Hope policies, procedures, and ethical standardsProfessional conduct and collaboration with staff and leadership
