The next great challenge is coming: We are working on an ambitious remake of a well-known first-person shooter franchise, rebuilding the experience in Unreal Engine 5 with modern technology, visuals, and gameplay systems.

You will join a strong, experienced team of engineers, artists, and designers to deliver a high-quality AAA product while redefining technical standards and scalability.

We are looking for a Technical Director to lead the technical vision and execution of the project. You will be responsible for defining architecture, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring high performance and stability across all platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both deep Unreal Engine expertise and strong team leadership skills.

Superpowers you have:

• Proven experience as a Technical Director / Lead Engineer in game development
• Strong hands-on expertise with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5)
• Deep knowledge of C++ and real-time systems
• Experience working on FPS or action games
• Solid leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience hiring, growing, and managing high-performing engineering teams.

Strong understanding of:

• Rendering pipelines and optimization
• Gameplay systems and architecture
• Performance profiling and memory management
• Multiplatform development
• Experience leading teams and making architectural decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

You're a rockstar if you have:

• Experience with AAA projects or remakes
• Knowledge of networking/multiplayer systems
• Experience with modern UE5 features (Nanite, Lumen, World Partition)
• Experience working with large-scale teams

• Lead and mentor engineering teams across gameplay, graphics, and systems
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and stability of the game
• Oversee UE5 systems implementation (rendering, streaming, physics, networking)
• Collaborate closely with Art, Design, and Production to align technical and creative goals
• Optimize pipelines and workflows for faster iteration and delivery
• Identify technical risks early and provide scalable solutions
• Support and guide code quality, best practices, and technical standards
• Participate in hands-on development when needed (C++/Blueprints)
