Position Details

• Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Location: Near Ness County, Kansas

• Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

• Hours: 36 hours scheduled per week

• Shifts Available: Days and Nights

• Pay: Up to $1,080 per week

Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to long-term care residents

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation

• Take and document vital signs as directed

• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff

• Assist with meals and hydration as needed

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable resident environment

• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies

• Work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality

Education and Certification Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• Must meet Kansas CNA certification requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred

• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or as required by the facility

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team

• Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills
