Position Details

• Position: PRN Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Location: Near Logan, KS

• Setting: Long-Term Care / LTC

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: PRN / As Needed

• Shifts Available: Day and Night Shift

• Hours: Scheduled based on facility needs; hours are not guaranteed

• Pay: Up to $28/hour

• Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Take and record vital signs as directed

• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation

• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed

• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• Follow resident care plans, infection-control procedures, and facility safety standards

• Promote resident dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life

• Collaborate with nurses and other members of the long-term care team

Education and Certification Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Kansas or ability to obtain required certification before starting

• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required based on facility guidelines

• Previous CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior care preferred

• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding requirements

• Strong communication skills and a dependable, resident-focused approach

• Flexibility to work PRN day or night shifts based on facility needs
