Location: Near Port Townsend, WA
Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5x8s (40 hours/week)
Shifts Available: Days, Evenings, and Nights
Compensation: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)

As a Travel Medication Technician, you'll play an essential role in ensuring residents receive safe, timely, and accurate medication administration while providing exceptional resident-centered care. You'll work alongside nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to promote the health, comfort, and well-being of every resident.
Administer medications accurately according to physician orders and facility policies
Document medication administration and resident responses in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Observe residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report concerns promptly
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Maintain accurate medication records and inventory
Follow infection prevention and medication safety protocols
Communicate effectively with nurses, providers, residents, and family members
Support a positive, compassionate, and team-oriented environment
Current Washington State Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification (or eligibility)
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred if required by facility
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Minimum 1 year of recent Medication Technician experience, preferably in Long-Term Care or Assisted Living
Strong medication administration knowledge and documentation skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
