Position Details

• Position: Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech)

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

• Setting: Hospital

• Shift: Nights

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Compensation: Up to $2,500/week (depending on experience and qualifications)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while following physician orders and departmental protocols.

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.

• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment while following quality assurance standards.

• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.

• Accurately document procedures within the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection prevention protocols.

• Participate in on-call or additional coverage if required by the department.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• ARRT (R) certification required.

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.

• Current Pennsylvania state licensure if applicable.

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting preferred.

• Experience with trauma, emergency, and inpatient imaging is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
